The Litchfield Bears Rugby League Football club’s ‘A’ grade men’s side, has taken out the 2018 competition with a hard-fought but, in the end comprehensive win over the Nightcliff Dragons.

The Bears ran out eventual winners with a final score line of 28 – 4.

The win is the club’s first in the men’s ‘A’ grade competition since 2008

The club also had a strong showing from their teams in both the Women’s competition, Men’s reserve grade and the juniors, with the club represented in the U/12 boys, U/14 boys and U/17 Girls Grand Finals.

Although none were victorious they were all very competitive games with the biggest margin only 4 points!

We are all extremely happy for the club to taste success.

It is the culmination of a lot of hard work, not only by the players and coaching staff but, also by the club President, committee and volunteers.
